How is your tea brewed?
The tea in POM Tea is hand-picked and gently brewed at a low temperature, like homemade sun tea, which results in less caffeine than traditionally brewed teas.
Cold brewing is the technique that will be used for the tea in POM Tea. Cold brewed teas are brewed with filtered water that is at room temperature, and not warmed in any way. The same strength of flavor that comes from hot brewing tea is obtained by cold brewing it for long periods of time with room temperature water. The benefit of cold brewing is that it eliminates the fatty oils and acids in the tea. This leads to a bold, super-smooth taste that's easier on the stomach. It is about 2/3rd less acidic than hot brewed methods.
