Drinks
POMojito – Perfect for the halftime and great with mixed company, the POMojito is a sure fire winner. Mixed with POM cherry, it’s a simple to follow recipe.

Ingredients:
1 oz. POM Cherry 100% juice
1 1/2 oz. light rum
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
3/4 oz. simple syrup (equal parts sugar and cold water dissolved together)
Soda
4 mint leaves
Mint sprig for garnish
Preparation:
In the bottom of a double old-fashioned glass bruise the 4 mint leaves with the fresh lime juice and simple syrup.
Add crushed ice then the POM Cherry and rum.
Top with a splash of soda and stir. Garnish with the mint sprig.
POM Thyme Margarita – Mixed by Chef Marc Forgione, the POM Thyme Margarita adds that extra special something to the pre-party. Just watch Chef Marc’s video here, and when the guests arrive, you’ll be ready for a POMtastic thyme.

Ingredients:
Preparation:
1. Assemble all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well with ice.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
POM julep – A mocktail, the POM julep hits the flavor spot while still retaining that downtime cool. As always, POM 100% pomegranate juice is the juice of choice. Just follow the recipe, drink, and cheer.

Ingredients:
1 oz. freshly squeezed pomegranate juice* or POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
1 1/2 oz. grapefruit juice
1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz. honey syrup (mix two parts honey with one part hot water and stir to dissolve, cool)
2 mint sprigs
Preparation:
Bruise 1 mint sprig in bar mixing glass with honey syrup.
Add remaining ingredients and shake over ice.
Strain over ice into a chilled rocks glass.
Garnish with the remaining mint.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup arils from 1 large POM Wonderful Pomegranate
2 ripe avocados, pits removed, peeled and diced
1/2 cup chopped cucumbers
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Place diced avocados in bowl.
Score 1 fresh pomegranate and place in a bowl of water.
Break open the pomegranate underwater to free the arils (seed sacs).
The arils will sink to the bottom of the bowl and the membrane will float to the top.
Sieve and put the arils in a separate bowl. Reserve 1/2 cup of the arils from fruit and set aside. (Refrigerate or freeze remaining arils for another use.)
Add 1/4 cup pomegranate arils and the remaining ingredients to the diced avocados. Mix well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place guacamole in a serving bowl and sprinkle remaining pomegranate arils on top for garnish.
Serve with assorted color tortilla chips.
Pomegranate Autumn fruit salad– It can’t be all buffalo wings – and this side of POM fruit salad is going to hit the spot. Follow the recipe, sprinkle on some arils and get ready for the POMbowl.

Ingredients:
Vinaigrette
4 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup walnut oil
salt to taste
1 banana, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon granulated sugarFruit Salad
1 cup arils from 1 to 2 large POM Wonderful Pomegranates or POM POMS fresh pomegranate arils
4 rings fresh pineapple, 1/2-inch thick, cut into chunks
2 persimmons, sliced
1 orange, sliced into segments
1 grapefruit, sliced into segments
1 lb. seedless green grapes, cut in half
4 tablespoons ricotta cheese (optional)
1 tablespoon sour cream (optional)
Preparation:
Score 1 to 2 fresh pomegranates and place in a bowl of water.
Break open the pomegranates under water to free the arils (seed sacs).
The arils will sink to the bottom of the bowl and the membrane will float to the top.
Sieve and put the arils in a separate bowl. Reserve 1 cup of the arils from fruit and set aside. (Refrigerate or freeze remaining arils for another use.)
Whisk together marmalade, lemon juice and walnut oil; salt to taste.
Add banana and sugar; set aside.
Arrange fruit slices on individual plates and sprinkle with arils.
Spoon banana vinaigrette on top of fruit.
If desired, mix ricotta cheese and sour cream; dollop mixture on each plate.
