  1. For the Ginger Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon fresh sliced ginger. Heat until boiling; reduce to low and simmer for 15 minutes or until thickened. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow to cool.
  2. Using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth, strain out the ginger. Save the remaining simple syrup in a glass bottle or mason jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  3. For the POM Ginger Bourbon Smash: In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, POM Juice, lemon juice, ginger simple syrup, and ice. Shake vigorously.
  4. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with POM Arils and a sprig of rosemary.

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sliced ginger

POM Ginger Bourbon Smash:

  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • 1 oz. POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Wonderful Seedless Lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz. ginger simple syrup
  • POM Wonderful Pomegranate Fresh Arils, for garnish
  • Sprig of fresh rosemary, for garnish
